Founder’s Note

My late mother is the reason behind this brand

My mother had sensitive skin and suffered with skin problems for more than a decade. The products she used on her skin made the condition even worse. My late mother is the reason behind this brand and inspired me to do what I do today with Vilvah.

How Vilvah was born

Vilvah was born in our Home kitchen

Since I come from an agricultural background, I wanted to experiment with simple ingredients that I grew up with. Goatmilk soap made with farm fresh Goatmilk is my first product, which I made it for my daughter who had dry and sensitive skin. Even though we have introduced different skincare products over time, Goatmilk soap will always remain close to my heart.

Story behind the Brand Name

Authentically Indian; Indescribably perfect

We wanted to have an Indian name or a name which screams Indian. We brainstormed so many names and when my husband Kumaran said "Vilvah", it just felt right and I just knew that was it.

Vilvah is derived from the sacred leaf "Vilvam" or "Bilvam". Sometimes, important decisions taken in life has no logical explanation to it.

Although we have started out with Goatmilk and many farm grown ingredients, We truly feel special to call ourselves "India's 1st Milk based Skin and Hair care brand " with the introduction of Vegan Milk Range such as Rice, Soy, Almond and Coconut Milk
